Options for Healthy Living
Options for Healthy Living is a not-for-profit community-based wellness program for all ages located in Estes Park, Colorado.

Options for Healthy Living offers four foci on health:
  1. Community-based wellness program;
  2. Community health education courses, on-line health information for residents and visitors and a monthly column, titled "Health and Wellness" in the Estes Park News. The Trail Gazette offers articles on health every other week to weekly. KREV-LP 104.7 FM airs interviews with health care providers during the Community Conversation program titled "Options for Healthy Living" hosted by Kay Rosenthal;
  3. Therapeutic Riding, "Miracle Mount", for persons with diabilities and
  4. Parish Nursing at the Estes Park United Methodist Church.
Join Options for Healthy Living's Wellness Program to create and use your “Passport for Health”. Led by a Registered Nurse you will receive a thorough physical assessment including vital signs (temperature, heart rate, respiratory rate, blood pressure, pulse oximetry); review of your medical history, goal setting session to self-design your journey to healthier living and quarterly monitoring sessions and incentives to help you meet your goals.

What your Options membership will get you:
  • Health Assessment by Registered Nurse.
  • "Passport for Health" Log Book to record your progress on the goals you select.
  • Referral to a primary healthcare provider (if you don't already have one).
  • Goal setting and individual monitoring sessions (weekly, monthly, quarterly) with a wellness focus.
  • Incentive program to encourage and reward goal completion.
  • Discounts are available to Options clients at: Macdonald Book Shop, Eagles Nest Gallery, HEALTHQUEST massage therapy, Melissa Robert Acupuncture, Elements of Touch Massage and Mountaintop Rehabilitation Center.

Options for Healthy Living offers additional consultation(s) with a Dietician, Lorinda Sipe MSRDE; Clinical Herbalist, Mary Hunter RN; and Pharmacist, Cliff Stuart RPh in addition to the Registered Nurse sessions with Kay Rosenthal PhD, RN.

Four convenient Estes Park sites: MedX of Estes, Rocky Mountain Athletic Club (RMAC), Mountaintop Rehabilitation Center and Estes Park United Methodist Church.
MedX is located at 158 First Street.
RMAC is located at 1230 Big Thompson Ave. (Hwy 34).
Mountaintop is located at 1632 A Big Thompson Ave. (Hwy 34).
EP United Methodist Church is located at 1509 Fish Hatchery Road.
